Kathak Vancouver is a small, community-run directory of Kathak artists and teachers across British Columbia’s Lower Mainland.

The Lower Mainland is geographically large — a teacher in Surrey may be an hour away from a student in North Vancouver. The goal of this site is simple: help anyone looking for a Kathak teacher quickly see who teaches where, so they can find someone close to home.

What’s listed here

Every entry is built from public information — each artist’s own website, school page, or social media. Listings include:

• The artist’s primary neighborhood or city.
• Their website and Instagram, where available.
• Whether they currently teach.
• A short, factual blurb.

We don’t list home addresses or personal phone numbers — only the contact channels the artist already shares publicly.

Who runs it

This site is maintained by Bibek Shrestha, husband of Kathak artist Palak Dhiman. It is independent of any school or institution and exists purely as a community resource.
